Who We Are

 

Georgian National Investment Agency (GNIA) – An agency under the Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia. It is the only Government agency responsible for investment promotion and facilitation. It is designed to act as a “one-stop-shop” for comprehensive information about investment opportunities in Georgia.

 

What We Do

 

GNIA Goals and Objectives:

 

  •  Promoting Georgia internationally 
  •  Increasing awareness of Georgia as an investment destination
  • Supporting FDI and registering new foreign investments
  •  Fostering public-private dialogue in order to build a better and more prosperous environment for private sector development and economic growth

 

GNIA Tasks and Activities:

 

  • Development and implementation of an effective communications strategy
  • Providing up-to-date information about setting-up business operations in Georgia as well as other required info necessary for making investment decisions
  • Organizing Invest in Georgia business forums, meetings, conferences and workshops
  • Researching investment opportunities and informing potential investors about investment advantages in Georgia
  • Arranging site visits for potential investors leading to the increase of investment opportunities
  • Facilitation of communication with government agencies

Export promotion:

 

  • Providing assistance to local business in finding foreign partners, enhancing their export strategies and helping them explore new markets

  • Publishing different informational brochures for Georgian exporters
  • Supplying Georgian companies with information about numerous international exhibitions and fairs held in foreign countries
